BeED Celebrates Mental Health

BeED Celebrates Mental Health

Mental health is an important issue that often gets overlooked. BeED is committed to bringing awareness to mental health and celebrating those who are working to improve their mental health.

This March, BeED celebrated mental health in different occasions. During which we tried to raise awareness about mental health and its importance in our lives.

World Autism Awareness Day

On the occasion of Autism Awareness Day, BeED commemorated the event by disseminating valuable information regarding autism and its impact on individuals. Autism, being a neurological disorder, alters the way a person interacts and perceives the world around them. Those with autism tend to experience difficulty in socialising and communicating with others, in addition to exhibiting repetitive behaviours or interests. The term Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) encompasses a broad range of difficulties experienced by people with autism, including Asperger's syndrome, that affects individuals differently.

World Down Syndrome Day

Down syndrome is a genetic condition resulting from the presence of an extra copy of the 21st chromosome, leading to various physical and cognitive difficulties. However, individuals with Down syndrome have proven that they can still live fulfilling lives. Many of them have achieved remarkable success in their professions, started families, and made significant contributions to their communities. At this moment, we take pride in acknowledging the incredible individuals with Down syndrome who have touched our lives and inspired us to be better. They truly enhance our world and make it a more beautiful place to live in.
